How to care
on your artificial flowers
Artificial flowers are a beautiful and practical alternative to real flowers, and with the right care they can stay beautiful for a long time. Our artificial flowers are made from materials such as PU, foam, plastic and silk, and each material has its own needs. Here are some tips on how to best care for your flowers, so they remain beautiful for many years to come.
Step 1
General maintenance
To preserve the appearance of your flowers over time, it is important to perform regular maintenance. This may include:
- Shaking or brushing: To keep artificial flowers fresh and clean, we recommend that you vacuum or gently brush them to remove dust. You can use a soft, dry brush or a vacuum cleaner with a low-power brush attachment to remove dust from the leaves and petals. If the flower has become distorted, you can gently adjust the leaves and petals to their original shape.
- Protect from sunlight: Artificial flowers can fade or lose their color if exposed to direct sunlight over time. To avoid this, you should place the flowers in a location where they are not in constant sunlight. If you must have them near a window, you may want to use curtains or blinds to protect them from the sun's harsh rays.
- Avoid high humidity: Although artificial flowers are made to withstand some moisture, prolonged exposure to high humidity (such as in a bathroom or outdoors) can damage the materials over time. SMake sure the flowers are not exposed to moisture for extended periods.
Step 2
Wash
If the flowers are very dirty, they can be washed gently.
How to wash them:
- Fill a bucket with lukewarm water and add a small amount of mild soap (such as dishwashing liquid or a mild cleaning agent).
- Dip a soft cloth in the soapy water and gently wipe the flowers and leaves. Be careful not to over-wet the material, as this can damage the plastic or foam.
- Use a dry cloth or towel to gently dry the flowers after washing. Avoid using harsh chemicals that may damage the colors or material.
Step 3
Storage
If you have seasonal flowers, such as Christmas bouquets or Easter flowers, you may want to store them properly when they are not in use.
How to store artificial flowers:
- Storage in a dry, cool place: When storing artificial flowers, make sure they are kept in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight or heat sources. This helps preserve the colors and materials.
- Avoid squashed or deformed flowers: If you are storing bouquets or individual flowers, avoid squeezing or crushing them. You can use boxes or storage containers to keep them protected.
- Airtight storage: If you have large quantities of artificial flowers, a plastic bag or storage box with a lid can be ideal for protecting them from dust and moisture.
Step 4
Location
- Avoid extreme heat: Although most artificial flowers can withstand room temperature, they should not be placed near heat sources such as stoves or fireplaces.
- Cleaning the vase: If the flowers are in a vase, remember to clean the vase regularly to avoid the accumulation of dust and dirt, which can affect the flowers.
With proper care, artificial flowers can be a beautiful and long-lasting addition to your home, and they will retain their beauty and freshness throughout the year. By following these simple maintenance tips, you can enjoy your flowers for a long time without worry!

Flowers made of silk
Flowers made of silk or other "breathable" materials require a little more care and different care than plastic flowers.
- Dust and cleaning: Silk and fluffy flowers can be more susceptible to dust, so they should be vacuumed at low pressure or brushed more frequently. It is important to use a very soft brush to avoid damaging the fibers.
- Washing: Silk or fluffy flowers should not be washed with water in the same way as plastic flowers. Instead, use a soft, damp cloth to gently wipe them or use special products to clean fabric-based flowers.
- Avoid direct sunlight: Silk and "puffy" flowers can fade quickly with prolonged exposure to sunlight, so it is extra important to place these flowers in a location where they are not exposed to direct sun.
