The "Student Chair," designed by Pierre Jeanneret, was prominently used at Panjab University in Chandigarh, India. This model, traced back to the university's "Hostel for Girls" (1959) and "Hostel for Boys" (1961), is cataloged under reference number PJ-SI-25B. Constructed from solid teakwood, this armless chair features a braided canework seat and backrest, alongside its distinctive asymmetrical "V" shaped legs. The backrest, slightly tilted, is attached to the seat with two robust supports at the base.
